Lunch in the Brewery pub Letterkenny.

When I first entered I was immediately hit with a somewhat musty stale odour, admittedly this put me on my back foot, but this was shortly forgotten about when the friendly and cheerful barman introduced himself to us.

Whilst waiting on our order to arrive the odour feigned further in to non existence by the very pleasant and mouthwatering smell of freshly cooked cuisine.

I took one look at my burger and thought to myself “I’ll never eat all that!”

I did, it was out of this world! I ordered pepper sauce as the dressing for the burger, a sauce that I shared with the equally tasty home made chips.

If I was to look for any negative at all during my visit to the Brewery, I would have to settle for something as meaningless as this, the ice cubes in the cola could have been fresher!

All in all though, it was most enjoyable. I’ll be back for more.

We visit Donegal twice a year every year, but for some blasted reason we never go in the summer.  I hate the cold! but they’re used to it there and they think I’m a wimp, perhaps they’re right.  This weekend for example we are invited to a fancy dress Halloween party, where I will go as a modern day Antarctic explorer, but here’s the thing, I will be wearing this getup all weekend!  Did I mention that I hate the cold?

I expect that there will be some alcohol consumed, I know that there will be plenty of banter and there will certainly be lots of good old fashioned Craic!
